We are currently recruiting a Personal Support Worker to assist our male employer with ALS, to provide personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.

Location:
- Surrey
Available Shifts:
- Friday and Saturday: 2:30pm to 10:30pm
Compensation:
- $23 per hour
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Assist with personal hygiene, including toileting and showering
- Administering medication
- PEG tube feeding
- Tracheostomy care and Suctioning
- repositioning and transfers (there is a ceiling lift to assist)
- Monitoring during sleep
Requirements:
- RCA or nursing background is a strong asset
- Completion of Provincial Respiratory Outreach Program (PROP) an asset or willingness to take the course
- Experience with clients using assistive Communication Tech
- One year caregiving experience is required
- Experience with suctioning machine is required
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 (including the most recent booster) and have a current (in the last 12 months) Flu vaccination due to the client's condition
