Caregiver

Case:
Looking after an elderly lady with mid-stage dementia. She is fairly independent and has no mobility issues.

Schedule:
Monday to Sunday, 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM (3 hours/day, 7 days/week = 21 hours/week)

Pay Rate:
$19 per hour

A bus stop is located in front of the building for caregivers using public transit.

Requirements:

• The family requests a female caregiver.
  
• Cantonese speaking is preferred but not mandatory.

What we are looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• minimum 1 to 2 years experience in supporting dementia patients

What you will be doing:

Assist with daily activities to help the client remain independent

Accompany the client on walks outside (e.g., to coffee shops, shopping, etc.)

Provide companionship and respite care for the family

Salary Range:

• $19 per hour
