We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a warm and friendly environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for residents.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the Care Team Leads.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote physical and mental stimulation.
- Provide specialized care for residents with conditions such as dementia or other cognitive impairments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred.
- Strong understanding of resident care principles and practices.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess strong organizational skills.
- Certification in caregiving or related training is advantageous but not mandatory.
