Position Summary
Devon Transport Ltd. prides ourselves in providing clean and well maintained vehicles for every rental. The staff at this location are responsible for ensuring that high standards of cleanliness are maintained together with simple vehicle maintenance such as ensuring that our rental vehicles are in good working order. As a Car Wash Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles are cleaned to the highest standards while delivering an exceptional experience for every customer. This position will include working weekends and holidays.
Position Responsibilities
- Wash Cars Returned from Customers - exterior and interior - to a high standard
- Ensure Detailed inspections performed on all returned vehicles
- Liaise with Customers in the lot (as necessary)
- Complete basic check of vehicles to ensure good working order
- Identify and record new and existing damage
- Driving of customers or movement of vehicles
- Work with team members to prioritize vehicle needs based on customer demand
- Assist with vehicle maintenance as scheduled
- Assist in other office duties as designated by Manager
- Assist customers as needed with luggage, basic vehicle operation instructions
- Have an open mind and eagerness to always be learning
- General caretaker duties including lot maintenance
- Sweeping out storage units
- Directing customers through storage buildings
- Emptying Garbage cans
- General maintenance duties
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License (*_Required)*_
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to operate basic cleaning tools
- Ability to operate hand tools
- Previous Detailing Experience considered an Asset
- General Automotive Knowledge considered an Asset
- Property maintenance experience considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
