Campground Attendant - Evening Shift
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team for the 2025 Camping Season. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a safe, quiet, and enjoyable environment for all guests at our campground. You will work independently, ensuring that operations run smoothly and that our guests’ needs are met throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover pools and hot tubs at closing time to ensure proper safety and security.
- Perform general cleanup of the campground and surrounding buildings.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as required.
- Enforce quiet hours and monitor campsites and common areas for guest compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness in washrooms, including light-duty refresh tasks.
- Safely remove and dispose of garbage.
- Provide superior customer service, addressing guest inquiries or concerns calmly and professionally.
- Report any guest problems, requests, or complaints to the Campground Manager, Owners, or Shift Supervisor, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned by the Campground Manager.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Exceptional customer service and public relations skills.
- Calm, firm demeanor, able to enforce campground rules with professionalism.
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols to maintain a secure environment for all guests.
- Must be fluent in English (both spoken and written).
This is a primarily evening shift position, with flexibility depending on business needs. Employment period will be from mid June to Sept Long weekend.
