Job Description


As a Staff Cafeteria Attendant at Fairmont, you are responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all colleagues utilizing the staff dining facility. You ensure the availability and presentation of food, beverages, and dining essentials, while upholding the highest standards of hygiene, efficiency, and guest service.

Start Date: September 8, 2025
Pay Rate: $19.09/per hour
Position Type: Permanent

Job Duties Include:

  • Provide friendly and attentive service to all colleagues, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the staff cafeteria at all times, including tables, counters, floors, and service areas.
  • Ensure all food items, snacks, beverages, condiments, and utensils are consistently available.
  • Monitor food levels and communicate with the kitchen for timely replenishment.
  • Accurately label all food items with ingredient information and relevant allergen warnings.
  • Collect and clear used dishware, trays, cutlery, and glassware and return them to the kitchen for washing.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or cafeteria operations is preferred.
  • Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift. Ability to perform regular bending, lifting, reaching and carrying.

You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
