Daan Go Cake Lab is home to bold creativity and unforgettable flavours. Led by MasterChef Canada winner Christopher Siu, we specialize in visually stunning, Asian-inspired cakes and pastries that delight customers across Canada. We're expanding our Vancouver team and are currently seeking a Barista who’s as passionate about coffee as we are about desserts.

What You'll Do:
- Prepare high-quality espresso drinks, specialty teas, and signature lattes with consistency.
- Provide friendly and informative customer service with a focus on product knowledge.
- Serve and handle Daan Go’s baked goods, including sliced cakes, pastries, and macarons.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café station at all times.
- Assist customers with recommendations and highlight seasonal menu features.
- Process orders efficiently—whether they’re for dine-in, takeout, or mobile pickup.
- Perform cash and digital transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Support daily open/close duties including restocking, dishwashing, and cleaning tasks.
- Problem-solve quickly to keep service smooth and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Contribute to team operations and uphold a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Previous barista or café experience is a must.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and customer service skills.
- A positive, friendly attitude with strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Interest or enthusiasm for coffee, baking, or hospitality.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments with a sense of urgency.
- Willingness to learn—basic latte art skills are a plus, but not required.
- Punctual, reliable, and collaborative with teammates.
- Able to lift up to 20kg and perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, mopping, and restocking.
- Available to work weekends and holidays when needed.
- Strong eye for quality and presentation in both drinks and service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
