About the Opportunity The Production Planner will be responsible for assisting with the design, analysis and testing of new Essence Cabinets products and the redevelopment of current offerings. The Production Planner will be tasked with identifying and facilitating product features and improvements, focusing on quality, ease of production, delivery, install, cost control and appearance. They will prepare and analyze product designs, specifications and prototypes, preparing reports as necessary for production to be properly executed. This individual is a vital member of the development team and ensures that Essence Cabinets produces appealing, high-quality, environmentally sound products that are second to none. The Successful Candidate will possess the following characteristics; You are a creative and innovative thinker, a highly motivated self-starter with the proven ability to work independently and within a team environment. You have excellent analytical and effective problem-solving skills and take the initiative to offer solutions to improve written and verbal communication. You can set priorities effectively in a deadline-driven environment. The Successful Candidate will have the following requirements satisfied; Experience with Cabinet Vision is considered an asset. Knowledge of cabinet making. Intermediate to advance skills of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures. Knowledge of First Aid and CPR is an asset. Strong knowledge of the Manufacturing marketplace. High level of integrity and work ethic. Professional demeanour, selling style, and appearance.
