Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with an exceptional shopping experience.
- Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
- Assist customers in making informed decisions based on their preferences and needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash handling protocols.
- Maintain an organized and clean display of products to enhance the shopping experience.
- Upsell products by recommending complementary items based on customer interests.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash management and product pricing.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory and store displays effectively.
- Ability to engage with customers professionally while providing personalized service.
- Familiarity with cannabis products is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain product features clearly.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
