Harbour 60, Toronto’s most celebrated luxury steakhouse, is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Broiler Cook to join our culinary brigade. Position Overview
As a Broiler Cook at Harbour 60, you will be entrusted with one of the most critical roles in our kitchen: executing perfectly cooked steaks to the exacting standards of our guests and our reputation. You will be working with premium ingredients, precision equipment, and a team that values discipline, consistency, and refinement.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the broiler with precision, ensuring all steaks are prepared to exact temperature and quality specifications.
- Uphold the highest culinary standards of flavor, texture, and presentation in a high-volume, fine dining environment.
- Maintain an impeccably clean, organized, and efficient workstation at all times.
- Work collaboratively with fellow chefs to ensure seamless kitchen operations and service flow.
- Respect and care for premium ingredients and state-of-the-art equipment, treating them with professionalism and attention.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year’s direct experience cooking steaks or operating a broiler at a high standard.
- At least 3 years of professional kitchen experience, ideally in premium or high-volume fine dining establishments.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to remain composed and efficient under pressure.
