The Pass Beer Company has an immediate position available for a Head Brewer.
We are located in the picturesque Municipality Of The Crowsnest Pass with unlimited outdoor activities at your door step, some of which include:
- hiking/backpacking/rock climbing/bouldering
- dirtbiking/quading
- local ski hill 5 min from the brewery or Castle Mtn 40min/Fernie 50min
- new 18 hole golf course
- fishing/hunting/camping
- mountain biking with an extensive trail network and new trails being built yearly
The head brewer position will be responsible for:
- maintaining & operating a 10hL brewhouse
- ordering ingredients & brewing supplies
- all aspects of the brewing process from start to packaged product
- canning & kegging
- cleaning & sanitization
- brewing a few core beer recipes
- creating new and exciting recipes
- inventory & warehouse management
- AGLC reporting
- excise reporting
- involvement with FOH keeping the 12 tap list rolling
- community relations
- festivals & expos with Pass Beer Team
- keeping it fun and productive
We have 2 Cellar hands to help with cleaning, packaging & day to day operations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
