The Aegir Room in the award winning Oswego Hotel is looking for a part-time breakfast server. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience from start to finish. Must be able to work breakfast shifts approx 7:00am-3:00pm
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
- Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication of orders.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour
