Position Overview:
We’re currently hiring a Boutique Fitness Assistant Manager to support the Studio Manager/Owner in day-to-day operations & sales. This role is perfect for someone with strong customer service skills, a passion for fitness, and leadership potential looking to grow in a dynamic, community-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Studio Operations & Customer Experience
- Assist with daily front desk operations, including opening and closing duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service to members and guests
- Respond to member inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure studio policies are upheld
- Oversee studio cleanliness and organization to ensure a premium, guest-ready environment
- Maintain working knowledge of all studio systems and services (Mindbody, CRM tools, etc.)
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive all revenue streams with a focus on studio membership and package sales
- Manage and grow retail sales, referrals, and retention efforts
- Engage in lead generation, conversion tracking, and follow-up communication
- Promote and sell memberships, packages, and special offers to both new and existing clients
- Actively support studio-level marketing and community outreach initiatives
Team Support & Leadership
- Assist with front desk team scheduling, performance, and daily support
- Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new front desk staff
- Provide performance feedback and help maintain a positive, team-focused environment
- Track class bookings, retail sales, and provide reporting and insights to the Studio Manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or customer service
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Sales-oriented with a friendly, energetic personality
- Tech-savvy; experience with Mindbody is a plus
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Passion for fitness and creating a supportive member experience
