Pronto Reproductions Ltd., a leading printing company specializing in offset, digital, wide format, and direct mailing services, is seeking a skilled and experienced Bindery Operator to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various bindery equipment, including but not limited to, folder, perfect binder, saddle stitcher, and guillotine cutter.
- Set up machines according to job specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to detect and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of bindery equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all bindery machinery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bindery Operator in a printing environment.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting folder, perfect binder, saddle stitcher, and guillotine cutter machines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to interpret job specifications and work with precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to machine maintenance.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of various binding and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols in a production environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts as needed to meet production demands.
