Position Overview:
We are seeking 1-2 dedicated Behavior Interventionist(s) (BI) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with a school aged child diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to implement behavior intervention plans, promote skill development, and create a supportive environment for optimal growth. This child loves to build, play with vehicles, and is very active so strong play skills are required. We are looking for someone who is fun loving and active but is able to maintain very strong boundaries. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children and eager to gain experience in the fields of education, psychology, or behaviour therapy.
This position requires at least a one year commitment.

- Sessions run Monday to Thursday, from 2:45pm-4:45pm. The successful candidate must be available to conduct these sessions.
- Team meetings run biweekly and are scheduled with the team (usually during session hours). The successful candidate must be available to attend these meetings.
- Additionally, the successful candidate must be available for up to 5 hours of additional support for the months of July and August.
- Going into spring 2026, hours with this child will decrease to 4 hours a week, so this opportunity may be best suited for someone entering a new degree program or new job opportunity next year.
- Potential for additional hours with other teams if requested.
