Position Title: Beer & Spirits Buyer at Everything Wine Langley
Position Type: Part-Time (32-40hrs/week)
Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager at Supervisors at:

This position requires availability on Sundays.

A day in the life:
- responsible for placing and receiving all beer, spirits and ready-to-drink refreshment beverage orders
- responsible for product placement, cleanliness, inventory management, cycle counting and price tags
- buying decisions based on trends, movement and customer feedback while maintaining and unbiased mindset
- manage seasonal thematics and any corporate marketing directives that are related
- create new relationships with breweries, distilleries and their representatives while maintaining and building upon existing ones
- support your team with product training and development on new, incoming products
- work with store leadership team to help identify opportunities to expand our customer base and increase store traffic

Qualifications:
- WSET level 2 in Spirits is an asset
- Liquor industry experience involving beer, spirits & ready-to-drink beverages
- 2-3 years in the customer service or retail industry
- Serving It Right certificate

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.75-$22.15 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
