Responsibilities:
- Greeting and Customer Service: Warmly greet customers, take their orders, and provide excellent customer service.
- Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, adhering to recipes and quality standards.
- Food Prep: Assist with preparing sandwiches.
- Cash Handling and POS Operation: Accurately process customer payments, including cash, credit cards, and digital transactions, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the work area, equipment, and seating area clean, organized, and sanitized.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stocking supplies, such as cups, lids, and other ingredients.
- Customer Support: Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and promotions.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
Skills Required:
- Customer Service: Friendly, patient, and able to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Basic Math: Accurate calculations for cash handling and change-making.
- Cash Handling: Knowledge of cash handling procedures and security protocols.
- Coffee Knowledge: Familiarity with coffee brewing methods and specialty drinks.
- POS System: Ability to operate and maintain a point-of-sale system.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Adherence to food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other staff members.
