Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. Your expertise in coffee preparation, food handling, and customer interaction will contribute to an enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS system for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils used in food preparation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Demonstrate time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks while maintaining quality service.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with guests.
- Familiarity with basic math for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently.
- Experience with cashiering duties is beneficial, along with an understanding of serving protocols.
- Monday to Friday 7am-3pm (weekends off)

Pay: $16.10-$21.94 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
