Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are made with care and attention to detail.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently using POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Experience in food preparation and food service within the food industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in cashiering and operating POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
