Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to customer preferences.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista is required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash management.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience in food preparation is an asset though not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From $15.70 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
