Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- Take customer orders, handle cash transactions, and process payments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly
- Upsell products and promote special items on the menu
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer personalities
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
