Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction through friendly interactions.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
- Operate the espresso machine and other equipment efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with food preparation and service, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience in cashiering and operating POS systems is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Previous experience in food service or customer service roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer experiences.
