Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. Your expertise in food preparation and customer interaction will help enhance the overall experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are maintained.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding menu items.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management when restocking is needed.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is essential to maintain a safe working environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation.
