As a Barista at Little Pebbles Cafe, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our customers. Located in a friendly neighborhood, this position involves preparing high-quality beverages and providing outstanding customer service that reflects our café's values.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and fulfilling their orders accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations and dining areas.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using the POS system while ensuring accuracy in billing.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or as a barista is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
