Duties
- Provide professional haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to individual client needs.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following proper sanitation practices.
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on hair styling options.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience and drive sales.
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and greeting clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction with services rendered.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong skills in hair styling, cutting techniques, and grooming services.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Experience in retail sales and upselling products is preferred.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
- A valid barbering license or certification as required by state regulations.
