About Fallowfield Estate: Our 2026 tent venue, set on 24 sprawling acres with incredible views and walking trails, provides a picturesque and elegant rural setting for weddings and events. We can accommodate up to 200 guests, ensuring a truly unique and seamless experience for every couple.
As both venues require couples to hire their own professional catering, we are looking for a Bar Manager who can oversee and coordinate these crucial aspects to ensure an exceptional day for our clients and their guests.
Job Summary: The Bar Manager at the Willowshore Group will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bar operations for weddings and private events for both Crescent Hill Acres & Fallowfield Estate. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-focused individual who can effectively manage external bar service providers, maintain high standards of beverage service, and contribute to a memorable event experience. The ideal candidate will ensure that all bar operations align with the venue's rustic yet elegant aesthetic and commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the efficient and smooth operation of all bar services during events, from cocktail hour to reception.
- Ensure proper setup of bar areas, including stock levels, equipment, and presentation, in collaboration with external teams.
- Monitor beverage quality and service standards, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Work with Willowshore team to modify, develop and implement standardized service protocols.
- Address any issues or concerns related to bar service promptly and professionally.
- Vendor Management, Inventory and Cost Controls:
- Coordinate schedules, setup, and breakdown each wedding bar based on their individual needs.
- Ensure all vendor contracts and necessary permits related to beverage service are in order and adhered to.
- Client Relations:
- Collaborate with event coordinators and of course our clients to understand their specific beverage needs and preferences for their events.
- Creating an exceptional experience for each of our clients and their guests.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on bar setups, drink menus, and service styles that complement the venue and event theme.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all bar operations comply with local liquor licensing laws, health, and safety regulations.
- Oversee responsible alcohol service practices by all bar staff.
- Leadership:
- Exhibit an effective servant leadership style.
- Work closely with the Willowshore team, outside catering staff, and other vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment while leading a team of 8-12 staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bar management, preferably within a wedding venue, hospitality, or specialty events setting.
- Strong understanding of beverage service, including cocktails, wine, and beer.
- Excellent written & oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of provincial liquor laws and responsible alcohol service (Smart Serve certification or equivalent is highly desirable).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A passion for creating exceptional experiences for clients and their guests.

Job Requirements:
- A valid drivers license and your own reliable transportation. All our venues and offices are not near public transportation.
- Smart Serve Certification.
- At least three years of direct leadership experience of at least three or more staff members.
Compensation: $55,000-$80,000 +
