Job Summary
We are looking for someone to join our baking team. The preferred candidate will be responsible for producing a variety of breads, sandwiches, and pizzas while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
This role is open for someone with limited experience or a veteran baker. However sourdough experience is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including bread, pastries, and cookies.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries about products.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
Experience
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations are mandatory.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- A passion for baking and creating delicious products that bring joy to others is a must.
- Ability to lift heavy bags (up to 25kg) is mandatory
