Key Responsibilities
- Recipe Execution: Follow established recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Baking & Mixing: Prepare and bake cakes, cupcakes, and a variety of desserts with precision and care.
- Decoration: Decorate desserts to meet high aesthetic and taste standards.
- Buttercreams & Fillings: Create and flavor buttercreams, ganaches, and dessert fillings.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain kitchen tools and appliances to uphold health and safety standards.
- Dishwashing: Participate in dishwashing duties as necessary to maintain a clean workspace.
- Daily Cleaning: Contribute to the daily cleaning of all areas to ensure a pristine environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role or a proven track record of relevant skills and expertise.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
- Capability to thrive under pressure and adapt to special or unexpected situations.
- A willingness to learn and master new skills from our experienced staff.
- A commitment to continuously advancing your pastry skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Must be located within commuting distance of our bakery in Surrey, BC.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must be available for immediate employment.
