We are looking to expand our team and hire a full-time experienced hardworking AZ/DZ driver. Currently we focus mainly on foundation excavation, septic system design and installation, driveways and lot grading. Candidates must be willing to work long days (approx. 10 hrs), and work within a team environment with little direction, work safely and follow company policies and procedures. A successful candidate will be someone who takes initiative and pride in their work, someone who is reliable, trustworthy and enthusiastic.
Our preference is someone who has a AZ license but we are considering DZ drivers at this time
In this position you will be expected to
- maintain company vehicles (tandem, float trailer etc) through regular maintenance.
- perform required safety checks
- complete daily timesheets and other correspondence legibly
- safely transport goods (sand, gravel, topsoil) to and from destinations
- follow safety policies in pit & quarries
- successfully identify materials
- manage time and routes
- willingness to assist as a labour or machine operator when needed
Requirements:
Valid Ontario drivers license
Clean drivers abstract - Required
Remuneration will be based on experience.
