Position Summary:
The ideal candidate is an OMVIC-certified professional with dealership experience who can confidently guide customers through the vehicle purchase process while consistently achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their needs in a professional, friendly manner
- Recommend suitable vehicles from our inventory and explain key features and benefits
- Conduct test drives and handle all aspects of the sales process
- Negotiate terms and close deals in accordance with dealership guidelines
- Prepare and complete all required sales paperwork
- Ensure full compliance with OMVIC and dealership policies
- Follow up with leads and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Stay updated on current inventory, pricing, and promotions
Requirements:
- Valid OMVIC Certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a car dealership (used or new)
- Proven sales skills and ability to consistently meet or exceed targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Valid G-class Ontario driver’s license with clean driving record
- Familiarity with CRM systems is an asset
