Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various tools and techniques used in the automotive industry. This role involves restoring classic vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and will work independently
Duties
- Perform full restoration projects under the direction of the owner of the dealership on his vehicles
- Utilize MIG welding and fabrication techniques to restore vehicle integrity.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance and detailing to ensure a pristine finish.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for repairs and refinishing.
- Execute auto restoration projects with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proficiency in mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems both modern and vintage.
- Experience with sheet metal work, soldering, assembly, and detailing is highly desirable.
- A strong background in automotive repair, including auto painting and welding techniques, is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Experience:
- Auto body : 5 years (preferred)
- 310S : 5 years (preferred)
- classic vehicle restoration: 5 years (preferred)
