We are looking for a highly motivated, professional, and passionate Audiologist, or a Hearing Instrument specialist for our growing Hearing practice. If you want to be part of a very special team who delivers the highest quality patient care, we need you to work between our Newmarket satellite hearing service, and our Aurora location (just 10 minutes down the road from each other).
Your Job Responsibilities:
- Perform complete hearing assessments for adults (also children 4+ for Audiologist)
-Demonstrates current knowledge of clinical practice and procedures in a health care environment.
- Selection and prescription of hearing aids.
- Follow-ups to meet patients' expectations and needs.
- High standard of patient care.
- Earmold impressions for hearing aid molds and custom hearing protection.
-Able to do minor hearing aid repairs.
- Earwax cleaning.
- Counselling for patients and families.
- Follow best practice protocols.
- Maintain good communication with other health professionals when needed.
What Are We Looking For:
- Masters Degree in Audiology with current CASLPO registration
- Hearing Instrument Specialist Degree with current AHIP registration.
- At least one year of clinical experience – Preferable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members
- Eager to bring the best of knowledge and skills to the practice.
- Caring professional willing to go beyond of what is expected.
- Commitment to manage and make the service grow.
- Willing to work with different hearing manufacturer’s software.
- Open to generate new ideas that will help expand our services.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
