At Burtch Animal Hospital, we are excited about the team we are building! We are seeking a team-oriented DVM to join our positive work environment in beautiful Kelowna, BC. This is a part-time Associate Veterinarian position (3 days/week) for a 12-18 month contract, with the potential for extension.
With new leadership & staff, our hospital has undergone progressive changes this year. We have a modern, renovated workspace, with new standards of care & fear free techniques, a training program for support staff, and the start of a promising regenerative medicine program. We are looking for a person with a positive outlook, who is also honest, trustworthy, and kind.
What You’ll Do:
- See a mix of medical appointments, surgery, +/- dentistry (mentorship is available)
- Work alongside a supportive and enthusiastic team that’s building something special
Who We’re Looking For:
- A team-oriented DVM who enjoys a positive, respectful workplace
- Someone with an interest in surgery and dentistry
- A growth mindset and great communication skills
Compensation & Perks:
- Salary of $125,000/year (negotiable based on experience), based on full-time hours and adjusted accordingly for part-time
