Associate Product Manager, Reporting & Insights
At Interac, we design and deliver products and solutions that give Canadians control over their money so they can get more out of life. But that’s not all. Whether we’re leading real-time money movement, driving innovative commerce solutions like open payments for transit systems, or making advancements in new areas like verification and open banking, we are playing a key role in shaping the future of the digital economy in Canada.
Want to make a lasting impact amongst a community of creative thinkers, problem solvers, technical gurus and high-performance application developers? We want to hear from you.
Reporting to the Group Product Manager, Business Operations, the Associate Product Manager (APM), will be responsible for reporting and insights across the Money Movement portfolio. You will play a crucial role in defining what gets measured, why it matters, and how insights drive product growth and performance.
You will sit at the intersection of product, business insight, and stakeholder engagement—ideal for someone who enjoys translating numbers into narratives to enable better decision making. You know how to interpret a chart and extract the “so what.”
You’ll be responsible for:
Serving as main paint of contact between product and internal teams to identify and prioritize reporting needs and requirements that aligns with product strategy and key results.
Defining product KPIs and scorecards that measure volume, adoption, risk, and business impact.
Creating recurring and ad hoc commentary, trends summaries and visual insights that support decision making
Assisting with validation of risk, regulatory, compliance and other metrics as required
Tracking, triaging and investigating reporting requests - uncovering trends, anomalies, or unmet information needs.
Contributing to process improvement, expanding internal value and external capabilities.
Monitoring product usage and user feedback post-launch; escalate issues and opportunities to the team
Creating support and training documents for internal and external users.
Analyzing market trends and competitive products to support long-term planning and roadmap development.
You bring:
5+ years of experience in management consulting, product management, or analytics preferably in a technology company
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and proactively within team.
Experience working alongside teams that use visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)—you don’t build dashboards or write code, but you can direct what’s needed.
Excellent organizational skills; adept at managing multiple requests and framing trade-offs clearly
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and contribute to team delivery goals.
Familiarity with user research, product discovery basics, and agile development principles.
Experience managing the entire product lifecycle.
