An Associate Product Manager (APM) plays a crucial role in the product development process, working closely with product managers and development teams to create and enhance products. The APM is responsible for gathering and analyzing product data, interpreting consumer feedback, and developing strategies to improve product features and user experience. In partnership with the squad, collaborate with the development team to iteratively deliver product functionality that accomplishes product objectives and key results aligned to the product strategy.
You’ll be responsible for:
Suggest and implement product improvements to enhance user experience.
Perform product testing and quality checks to support functional, reliable product releases.
Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver effective product solutions and learn cross-functional workflows.
Support product launches by coordinating with marketing and customer-facing teams to ensure accurate messaging and positioning.
Conduct market research and partnering with the Strategy team to leverage available research, identify industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape at the product and/or squad level.
Support the definition and prioritization of product features by writing basic requirements and managing timelines.
Monitor product usage and user feedback post-launch; escalate issues and opportunities to the team
Prioritize new feature implementations and set specific timelines.
Create support and training documents for internal and external users.
Analyze market trends and competitive products to support long-term planning and roadmap development.
You bring:
5+ years of product management or equivalent relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and proactively within team.
Ability to engage in technical discussions and translate product needs into basic technical requirements.
Familiarity with user research, product discovery basics, and agile development principles.
Experience managing the entire product lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and contribute to team delivery goals
Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
