Associate Manager, Gift & Data Processing

How you will make a difference:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Gift & Data Processing the Associate Manager, Gift & Data Processing will manage data entry work performed by seasonal staff, ensuring that they adhere to policies, procedures and protocols including data integrity standards, privacy, and records management.
- Provide training and guidance
- Advise on changes in procedures and important dates/deadlines
- Respond to inquiries and resolve discrepancies identified by staff
- Perform ongoing audit and reconciliation on data processed
- Oversee and record all workplace envelopes received and processed
- Attend weekly meetings to discuss any issues and challenges
- Manage the migration of data to CRM, including reviewing pledge forms and dealing with exceptions such as potential duplicates and mismatched data
- Participate in system testing (@work, CRM, etc.) as required and investigate any data entry issues
- Respond to campaign-related questions that come in through Gift and Data Processing, ticketing system from both internal and external stakeholders
- Train and manage seasonal staff
- Support Corporate Donor Relations team (Managers, Sponsored Employees) with concerns related to data entry and reports
- Maintain workplace digital files and folders for auditing purposes
- Reconcile eTransfer and EFT logs for donations and pledges through workplace campaigns
- Assist with reviewing and updating campaign and processing documentation
- Assist the Senior Manager, Gift and Data Processing in gathering information for the interim audits
What you bring to the role:
- 1- 3 years experience in gift and data processing
- Understanding of basic financial transactions and knowledge of CRA regulations on donation receipting
- Experience with Constituent Relationship Management
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills
- Previous supervisory experience an asset
- Excellent attention to detail and proven track record of accuracy
- Demonstrated ability in data reconciliation and audit
- Experience preparing bank deposits
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service including the ability to work respectfully and inclusively with a diverse set of constituents that includes staff, donors, and third-party contractors
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to exercise good judgment and work cooperatively and independently
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Willingness to actively contribute to the organizational equity framework through participation in learning opportunities and implementing anti-oppressive, and anti-racist learning into action internally and externally
