OVERVIEW
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist with all aspects of the Redpath GSG function as follows but not limited to:
- Vessel nomination and documentation
- Canada Customs clearance for raw sugar imports
- Prepare and calculate Demurrage/Dispatch Statements
- Verify settlement of polarization and quality statements
- Invoice verification and payment processing
- Administer Sustainability program
- Maintaining trading information and systems
- Provide commercial support for Raw Sugar Trading group including but not limited to sourcing and logistics
- Operational analysis
- All other administrative functions regarding raw sugar vessels, etc.
WORK EXPERIENCES
- Minimum 2 years experience in a commodity trading and/or marine logistics preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – able to work in team environment both internal and external to the company
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Strong computer skills primarily Microsoft products
