Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in restaurant management, with the ability to lead a team effectively while enhancing the dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Supervise staff performance, providing training and support to enhance customer service skills.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food safety standards are met and maintained.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment, including dining areas and kitchen facilities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
