Assistant Property Manager – Residential Real Estate

Compensation: $50,000–$54,000 annually + Full Benefits

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required)

About the Role:
As the Assistant Property Manager, you’ll provide hands-on support to the Property Manager while managing everything from tenant communications to vendor coordination and administrative processes. You’ll be a key point of contact for tenants, contractors, and team members—ensuring smooth operations and contributing to high occupancy and tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant & Property Operations
- Respond to tenant inquiries with professionalism and urgency
- Schedule and follow up on repairs, inspections, and maintenance requests
- Support move-in/out coordination, showings, and lease document preparation
- Conduct on-site inspections to identify and address property issues
Administrative & Financial Support
- Maintain tenant files, lease agreements, work orders, and key property documentation
- Assist with rent collection tracking and monitoring accounts receivable
- Prepare notices and communications for tenants and owners
- Help manage trade relationships and ensure timely service delivery
Leasing & Retention Support
- Assist in advertising listings, coordinating showings, and screening applicants
- Ensure high-quality, timely turnover processes
- Track and maintain occupancy goals with an eye on long-term retention
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years in property management or as an assistant property manager
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Yardi (or similar property software)
- Detail-oriented, solution-focused, and adaptable to changing needs
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (required)
- Pet-friendly (no allergies or pet-related fears due to property access requirements)
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
