Position description
The Department of History at Mount Allison University invites applications for a full-time nine-month sessional position, at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor, for Fall 2025/Winter 2026, subject to budgetary approval.
The successful candidate will teach the following four courses:
Hist 2001 Europe During the Medieval Era - Fall T/Th 11:30 - 12:50
Hist 3991 Special Topics (a course in an area of the candidate’s expertise) - Fall M/W/F 10:30
Hist 2011 Europe During the Renaissance and Reformation - Winter T/Th 11:30 - 12:50
Hist 3161 The Crusades Winter M/W/F 10:30
The successful candidate should have a PhD in History and prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
