We are looking for a motivating and ambitious member to help lead one of our fitness facilities at World Gym!
As the Assistant Manager, you are the face of the facility and World Gym Brand. You will be expected to give excellent customer service to our members and leadership to all staff. We want you to understand the importance of fitness and actively involve health in your current lifestyle.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Customer Service: Greet members, assist with inquiries, and handle complaints in a calm and professional manner.
- Staffing: Hire, train, and schedule staff; monitor performance and provide feedback to accelerate staff development.
- Sales: Work with the Sales Manager and Sales team to promote services, sell memberships and hit monthly targets.
- Administrative: Process payments, manage billing, track memberships, and maintain records for facility success,
- Facility Management: Support the Regional Manager in day-to-day operations and management of the facility.
- Member Retention: Engage with members to enhance satisfaction and encourage membership retention.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure equipment is functional, maintain a clean facility, and uphold safety standards.

World Gym can be traced back to the glory days of Muscle Beach in Los Angeles, California. In 1976, Joe Gold opened a small gym filled with custom made equipment.
