Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our retail environment, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. Duties
- Assist in managing store operations to meet sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Oversee daily cash handling procedures, including cashiering and POS operations.
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with merchandising strategies to optimize market presence.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement sales promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or management is preferred.
- Strong skills in team management and time management are essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems is required; bilingual candidates are highly desirable.
- Proven ability to handle cashiering responsibilities accurately.
- Experience in administrative tasks related to retail operations is a plus.
- A background in interviewing and training new employees will be beneficial.
