We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet our clients' expectations. Your role will involve working closely with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, providing recommendations for appropriate grooming treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Lift and manage pets of varying sizes, demonstrating strength and care during handling.
Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong desire to learn.
- Strong customer service skills are essential to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets is necessary for this role.
