Expanding company looking for a hardworking and motivated Assembly / General Labourer to join our team in Markham, ON. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate is a team player with hands-on experience who is eager to contribute to a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly of various products and components according to specifications and quality standards.
- Operate cutting equipment to prepare materials and stock components for the production line.
- Assist with packaging finished products, ensuring they are prepared accurately for shipment.
- Handle shipping and receiving duties, including loading/unloading goods and verifying orders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience using common hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches) and pneumatic (air) tools.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team setting.
- Strong work ethic with a reputation for being reliable and punctual.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Good attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role is considered a strong asset.
