Role Summary:
As an Assembler at Freedom Concepts, you are part of the overall Production team. The Assembler is responsible for assembling, repairing, and testing bicycles to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for sale or use. This role requires attention to detail, technical knowledge of bicycle components, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment. There may be opportunities for cross-training in various departments based on the company’s needs.
General Accountabilities and Required Skills:
- Assemble various types of bicycles, including frames, wheels, pedals, chains, brakes, and other bicycle components.
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines while continuing to deliver consistent performance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with bicycle maintenance is an asset.
- Ability to maintain inventory management systems.
- Ability to use small hand tools (Ex. Hammer, screw drivers, measuring tape, wrenches and torque wrenches to assemble parts accurately.
- Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of bike parts and components. Report shortages of materials and order parts when necessary.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work with manual tools for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving mechanical issues during assembly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Wear required safety gears such as gloves, goggles, and aprons when handling tools and equipment.
- Assist when needed in the Kitting and Shipping department.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Strong mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude
- Able to lift 75lbs and work on your feet for the entire day.
- Experience with bicycle maintenance is an asset, but not required.
- Valid driver’s license.

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
