Arborist/Tree Climber/Ground Worker Job Description
Redick Professional Tree Care is looking for a Arborist/Tree Climber/Ground Worker to join our team in Sarnia, ON.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tree pruning and removal in residential and commercial landscapes.
- Perform aerial and ground tree removal, including trunks over 30” in diameter.
- Perform minor equipment maintenance as required.
- Properly label and store equipment and tools used in the performance of the duties.
- Complete work assignments on time with little supervision.
- Work with a small crew without onsite supervision.
- Load, unload, and transport equipment and tools on trucks or trailers.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Experience:
·A valid driver’s license is required for this position. Must have had 2 years with full Class G licence.
·A clean driving record is required for this position.
·Valid Class DZ or AR licence is strongly preferred.
·Tree climbing experience is preferred but not required.
·Experience working in a landscape maintenance company environment is preferred but not required for this position.
·Must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a frequent basis while on foot or using hand tools.
·Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on a regular basis for prolonged periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
