Tasks
- Clean, sanitize and dry aquaculture equipment before the next use to prevent the introduction of pathogens and disease
- Feed aquaculture stock
- Maintain aquaculture equipment
- Operate aquaculture equipment
- Report stock irregularities to supervisors
- Cull, mark or tag aquaculture stocks
- Transport marine plants to processing plants
- Dig shellfish from shellfish beds
- Assist aquaculture technicians in the operation of fish hatcheries or other aquatic farms
