Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry while working under the guidance of experienced professionals. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will assist in various plumbing tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to the successful completion of projects.
Duties
- Assist licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform plumbing tasks effectively.
- Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Participate in HVAC installations and repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while on job sites.
- Develop mechanical knowledge through practical experience and training.
- Gain proficiency in basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Assist in welding tasks when required, under supervision.
Experience
- No prior plumbing experience is necessary; however, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic mechanical knowledge will be beneficial in understanding plumbing systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- Strong basic math skills are required for accurate measurements and calculations.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
