Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with a focus on appliance repair. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform repairs on a wide range of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems.
- Assemble and disassemble appliances as needed for repairs or maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their appliance issues and repair processes.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand electrical systems and HVAC components.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical diagrams is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel to various job sites.
