Job Title: Seasonal Apple Harvester – Appleflats Orchard
Location: Various Apple Harvest Sites (Transportation Provided)
Schedule: 3 Weeks – Starting Immediately (Full Days, 5–6 Days/Week)
Pay: $0.04/lb harvested. Averages out to $120-$160 per day. (Cash Paid Daily)
Average day starts at 8 am, and ends around 4 pm (Drive time not included)
Job Description:
Join the Appleflats crew in the heart of harvest season! We’re looking for hard-working, reliable team members to help us pick crabapples from our urban orchard. This is physical outdoor work, perfect for those who enjoy fresh air, a good sweat, and working with a small, friendly team.
You’ll be part of the core process that makes our unique Canadian crabapple soda and preserves possible. No experience needed—just a good attitude and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
Responsibilities:
- Pick apples from trees using Machines and ladders
- Sort fruit and remove damaged or unripe apples
- Assist with bin filling, transport, and basic orchard clean-up
- Follow all safety guidelines and respect orchard property
- Be on time, prepared, and ready to work outdoors in all conditions
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working on your feet for long hours, sometimes in variable weather
- Must be 16+ years old
- Team player with a good work ethic and positive attitude
